If you still have questions or concerns after browsing through these resources, feel free to submit a support ticket at hello[at]roundlyx[dot]com!
If you’re ready to set up your RoundlyX account for the first time, head on over to www.roundlyx.com/accounts/signup/. You should see a standard signup window.
Note: RoundlyX is currently only available for US users. We plan on expanding to the EU and Canada later in 2021. If you’re interested in beta testing when we move into your country, DM us on Twitter to let us know!
You’ll have the option to input a referral code at the bottom of this page. If a friend is referring you, they can find this code at the bottom of their RoundlyX Dashboard. It should look something like “Purp-DFBE47”.
After filling in the required information, agreeing to the Terms and Conditions hit the “register” button. You’ll be directed to confirm your email address on the next screen.
Next, you will be prompted to link your cryptocurrency exchange and bank accounts to begin accumulating roundups. Like many other platforms, RoundlyX uses Plaid to easily and securely connect all your accounts in one place.
Follow the prompts from Plaid to first connect your fiat bank account of choice.
Once you’ve finalized connecting your bank with RoundlyX, you will be shown a notice that gives a quick overview about us, our features, and our fee structure:
Adding Exchange Accounts
Now that we have your primary fiat bank accounts connected, we need to connect to the cryptocurrency exchange accounts you’d like to use with RoundlyX. Note: you can add or remove fiat accounts at any time under “Fiat Accounts.”
Scrolling down your Dashboard, you should see the “Exchanges” section next.
If you have an existing account with any of these exchanges, you can connect it to your RoundlyX Dashboard using the “Connect” button. If you would like to create a new account with any of these exchanges, the “create account” button will direct you through the steps.
Note: these links are referral links, and both you and RoundlyX will receive a small amount of cryptocurrency in exchange for your using the “create account” button.
Connecting Coinbase Exchange
Click this link or the “create account” button to get started with your new Coinbase account. You’ll be prompted to enter your name, email address, and location. Accept the terms and conditions, and then verify your email.
After verifying your email, you’ll be prompted to set up two-factor authentication. You can change this from SMS to Google Authenticator or Authy after setup.
The next screen will prompt you to complete Know Your Customer (KYC) information. Once you finish this section, you’ll have access to your Coinbase Dashboard, but we’re not quite finished!
In order to claim your referral bonus and to make sure your roundups begin, you need to add a payment method in Coinbase. Make sure you use the same bank or credit card account you connected to RoundlyX in our “fiat account” step above. Roundups will not process if the correct account is not connected.
Click “Add Payment Method” on your Coinbase Dashboard and select your payment method of choice. You will be prompted to connect your account using Plaid, the same service RoundlyX uses to connect your bank account.
Once you’ve connected your Coinbase payment method, you’re ready to begin rounding up with RoundlyX and Coinbase!
Connecting OKCoin Exchange
Click this link or the “create account” button on your RoundlyX Dashboard to get started with your new OkCoin account. You’ll first be prompted to enter an email address and a password. OKCoin will send an activation code to your email. Input the code, and you’ll be taken to the next screen.
Click “Verify as an Individual Account” to proceed. Fill out OKCoin’s Know Your Customer (KYC) requirements on this screen. Once you’re finished, you’ll be allowed to trade on OKCoin. You can submit your government ID to raise your trading limits at any time.
Click “Buy crypto” or “Deposit funds to start trading” to continue.
Next, click on “Bank Management” on your OKCoin account. Connect the fiat bank account that you’ll be using for your RoundlyX roundups. Next, we’ll need to connect the OKCoin API.
Log into OKCoin and navigate to: Account / API.
Click + Create API Key.
Choose a name for your API key like RoundlyX.
Choose a Passphrase and remember it!
Set Permissons to Read, Withdraw, & Trade.
Once the API Key is created click View to access the necessary API key information. Copy and paste the API Key, Secret Key and Passphrase from API List to your RoundlyX Accounts page.
Please Contact Support if there are any issues with connecting your API Keys!
To successfully roundup confirm you have a linked fiat account, check inside your OKCoin account under: Assets / My Assets Overview / Bank Management.
Connecting Voyager Exchange
Click this link, or the “create account” button to get started with your new Voyager account. Currently, Voyager is a mobile app, and you’ll need to download the appropriate version for your phone. Use the links for either Google Play Store or the App Store.
Once you’ve downloaded and opened the app, click “sign up.” In the box labeled “reward code,” be sure to put “roundlyx19” to get your signup bonus. Agree to the terms, and then click Continue.
On the next screen, you’ll be prompted to enter Know Your Customer (KYC) information. Once you’ve completed this step, you may see a waitlist alert. Voyager will contact you once your account is ready to use.
You’ll receive an account verification email shortly after completing this step. Be sure to click “verify email” when you see the message in your inbox.
Once Voyager contacts you informing you you’re no longer waitlisted, you’ll need to finish setting up your account. Under Settings, in the upper right hand corner, select “Bank Accounts.”
Next, click “add bank account.” Here, you’ll want to connect the same account that you’d prefer to use for your RoundlyX roundups. Connecting a different account can cause your roundups to fail.
Once you’ve added your bank account and your Voyager account is fully verified, you’ll be able to connect it on your RoundlyX Dashboard. Please note: not fully verifying or setting up your Voyager account will cause roundups to fail.
On your RoundlyX Dashboard, find “Exchanges” and scroll down to Voyager. Click “connect.” On the next screen, you’ll be prompted to give RoundlyX permission to make purchases through your Voyager account. Click “allow.”
Your new Voyager account is now connected! Be sure to select the digital asset into which you’d like to round up, and make sure the appropriate fiat account is selected in the Voyager tabs for roundups.
If you continue to scroll down your Dashboard, you will see “View Only Exchanges.” These exchanges are not currently available for roundups but will display your portfolio balance alongside your other roundup exchange accounts. This way, all your cryptocurrency data is easy to view in one location: your RoundlyX Dashboard.
If you would like your favorite exchange to integrate with RoundlyX roundups, let them know by tweeting at us and them! You can find us at twitter.com/roundlyx. We would be happy to have conversations with new partners and are always trying to grow to better serve our users.
At the very bottom of your Dashboard, you will find your own unique referral link. Get your friends using RoundlyX! We currently pay out $4 in Bitcoin for each successful referral. We payout referrals mid-month each month, and we will reach out via your RoundlyX email address to ask for your Bitcoin address for payment.
